Delémont – Vorbourg – Delémont

A climb to the ruins of Delémont Castle

The chapel and ruined castle of Vorbourg are far above the Birs gorge, with views of the plain around Delémont, the Jura capital. From the city centre, the route initially follows the Sorne stream and then climbs directly to Vorbourg castle. The descent follows the ridge and crosses the outskirts to return to the city.
