The hike along the "Promenthouse" military defence line is unique as a historical experience, and also because of its unspoilt natural beauty. The "Toblerone Trail" (named after the Swiss chocolate bar) takes its title from the tank traps built during the 1939–45 mobilisation.

Direct bus from Bassins to Nyon or stop on the railway to St-Cergue (other side of the valley!)

To Bassins: 5h 30m (plus 1h 15m to the viewing pulpit)
